President Trump Announces Intent To Nominate Former Texas AG Chief Of Staff, TPPF Director As New FERC Commissioner

President Donald Trump announced his intent to nominate Bernard L. McNamee to be a Member of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, for the term expiring June 30, 2020.
McNamee currently serves as the Executive Director of the Office of Policy for the U.S. Department of Energy. Previously, he served as Deputy General Counsel for Energy Policy at the U.S. Department of Energy.
Additionally, McNamee served four Attorney Generals in two states (Virginia and Texas), including as Chief of Staff for the Office of the Attorney General of Texas under Ken Paxton. McNamee also served as a senior domestic policy advisor to United States Senator Ted Cruz
McNamee previously served as Director, Life: Powered and Director, Center for Tenth Amendment Action at the Texas Public Policy Foundation
