Stream also announced the offering of longer-term fixed rates in several markets.
In Texas, Stream will now offer a 30-month fixed electricity plan. Previously, Stream offered 30-month fixed plans in Texas only as part of various bundles (smart thermostat, etc.).
In the Oncor service area, Stream's new Simple and Secure 30 month fixed plan includes an average all-in rate, at 1,000 kWh, of 10.9 cents per kWh, which reflects an all-inclusive rate of 13.9 cents per kWh if usage is less than 1,000 kWh, and an all-inclusive rate of 10.9 cents per kWh if usage is at least 1,000 kWh. The plan includes a $300 early termination fee
In most of its Northeast and Midwest electricity markets, Stream will now offer a 24-month electricity plan, in addition to a 12-month plan
In Georgia, Stream is also offering a 24-month fixed gas plan in addition to a 12-month plan
