Just Energy, through its Amigo Energy brand, has announced a partnership with BBVA’s Tuyyo, a global, mobile money transfer service.
The partnership represents Just Energy’s first joint marketing collaboration.
The promotion enables Amigo Energy customers to receive a $100 bill credit when using the Tuyyo app. Tuyyo customers that switch to Amigo Energy gain eligibility for a $100 bill credit on their electricity bill.
With the Tuyyo app, users in the U.S. can transfer money to friends and family in Mexico. Tuyyo enables users to send funds up to $1,000, with no fee transfer (restrictions apply). Beneficiaries can receive funds via various retrieval methods.
"In the coming months, Just Energy looks forward to launching additional partners which will expand the company’s distribution network and extend its customer reach. These partnerships are a win all around as affiliate companies share access to customers and exclusive promotions, while consumers gain access to more products and services at reduced cost," Just Energy said
