New York natural gas utilities have filed their annual reconciliations of natural gas costs for the 12-month period ending August 2018

Consolidated Edison reported that its reconciliation calculation results in a charge to firm gas sales customers of approximately $56.73 million including interest, based on currently available data that is still undergoing review. This charge consists of a $55.65 million net Gas Cost Factor (GCF) under-collection for the twelve months ended August 2018; a $0.39 million credit related to an over-collection of a GCF reconciliation for the twelve months ended August 31, 2016; and an estimated interest charge of approximately $1.47 million. The unit amount is about 6.15 cents per therm (6.1454¢) to be charged to firm gas, default service customers through the GCF for the calendar year 2019.

Orange & Rockland stated that, for the twelve-month period ended August 31, 2018, O&R experienced a Gas Supply Charge (GSC) under-collection of $5,538,458 including interest. This results in a GSC Surcharge of $0.4549/Mcf, to be surcharged to default service customers over the twelve-month period commencing January 1, 2019.

National Fuel Gas Distribution Corp. reported that its total surcharge as a result of reconciliation is $2,409,364, resulting in a surcharge factor of $0.0442/Mcf to default service customers

NYSEG reported that as a result of an over-collection and reconciliation, beginning with the first billing cycle of January 1, 2019 and continuing through December 31, 2019, NYSEG will apply a refund of $0.014009 per therm to bills of customers who purchase their gas supply from NYSEG

Rochester Gas and Electric reported that as a result of an over-collection and reconciliation, beginning with the first billing cycle of January 2019 and continuing through December 2019, RGE will apply a refund of $0.002793 per therm to bills of customers who purchase their gas supply from RGE
