Baltimore Gas & Electric has filed new Type II SOS rates for the period beginning December 1, 2018

Consistent with historic practice, BGE has only filed updated tariffs reflecting new Type II SOS rates for the period beginning December 1, 2019. Procurements of SOS supply for residential and Type I SOS for the period beginning June 1, 2019 have been completed; however, BGE does not file tariff revisions of such rates until it receives settlement data to shape certain Time of Use rate classes.

BGE has posted "projected" SOS rates for the mass market classes for the period beginning June 1, 2019, reflecting only the Generation Rate component (excluding transmission and Rider 8 reconciliation). The projected Generation Rates for non-TOU classes should not change in BGE's official filing.

For Schedule R residential customers, BGE's projected Generation Rate is 5.631¢/kWh for the period June 1, 2019 - Sept. 30, 2019. That's 16% lower than the current rate of 6.714¢/kWh for the period Oct. 1, 2018 - May 31, 2019. Again, these rates exclude transmission and Rider 8

For Schedule G - Type I SOS customers, BGE's projected Generation Rate is 5.212¢/kWh for the period June 1, 2019 - Sept. 30, 2019. That's 16% lower than the current rate of 6.230¢/kWh for the period Oct. 1, 2018 - May 31, 2019. Again, these rates exclude transmission and Rider 8

BGE's as-filed Type II SOS rates for the period beginning December 1, 2018 are below. These rates include both generation AND transmission but do not include reconciliation (Rider 8)
