Massachusetts Mass Market Default Service Rates To Increase 14-17%

NSTAR Electric Company d/b/a Eversource Energy filed with the Massachusetts DPU new basic service rates for its Western Massachusetts service territory (WMA), formerly WMECO, for the period beginning January 1, 2019

All rates below reflect the currently effective Basic Service Adders, Renewable Portfolio Standard, Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard and Clean Energy Standard Adders

The filed new fixed residential default service rate of 11.730¢/kWh for January through June 2019 is about 17% higher than the current rate of 10.003¢/kWh.

The filed new fixed small C&I basic service rate of 12.407¢/kWh for January through June 2019 is about 14% higher than the current rate of 10.859¢/kWh.

WMECO rates are below in ¢/kWh, and include the currently effective Basic Service Adders, Renewable Portfolio Standard, Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard and Clean Energy Standard Adders
