Declining Pennsylvania Residential Electric Shopping Sees Little Improvement In October

Pennsylvania saw a marginally lower decline in the number of residential electric customers on competitive supply statewide from late September to late October, as compared to recent monthly declines.
From late September to late October (reporting date varies slightly by utility), Pennsylvania saw the aggregate number of residential electric customers on competitive supply statewide decrease by 8,500 accounts. That's marginally down from the net decline of 10,200 customers from late August to late September
Duquesne Light was the only EDC of the seven large EDCs to see a net increase in residential electric shopping from late September to late October
