SFE Energy Illinois, Inc. (SFE) has recently received its license to market natural gas and electricity in Illinois. In early 2019, SFE Energy will launch energy programs for homes and businesses across the state.

SFE entered the US energy market in 2011 with the acquisition of Family Energy in New York state. SFE went on to launch business in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Massachusetts, California, Ohio and Texas, offering residential and commercial natural gas, electricity and green energy programs.

With Illinois being its newest market entry this year, SFE Energy will continue to expand throughout the deregulated markets in the United States, the company said
