Mass. DPU Approves Lower Basic Service Cost Adder At Unitil

The Massachusetts DPU has approved an updated basic service costs adder (BSCA) at Fitchburg Gas and Electric Light Company d/b/a Unitil
The DPU approved the updated BSCA, which is a component of the basic service rate, of $0.00381 per kilowatt-hour, effective on and after December 1, 2018
The current BSCA is $0.00570 per kWh, or $0.00189 per kWh lower than the new BSCA
