Start-up Novo Energy Services Receives License In New State

The Illinois Commerce Commission granted start-up Novo Energy Services LLC an electric agent, broker, and consultant license

As exclusively reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, Novo Energy Services is associated with a broader sales and corporate relationship consultant led by a former SVP of corporate partnerships for the New York Football Giants

Although the precise legal relationship is unclear, Novo Energy Services had listed in a Pennsylvania broker application the website address of Novo Consulting, LLC, and includes, in supporting materials, the resume of the founder and CEO at Novo Consulting, LLC, John Maguire

Novo Consulting's services include relationship building and sales execution, event management and hospitality, and corporate partnerships

Maguire previously served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for the New York Football Giants

Maguire also previously served as VP/General Manager of the highly successful sports radio station WEEI in Boston during the 1990s, and later owned and operated Triple A Entertainment LLC, a media entity that served as the owner-operator of 28 radio stations in the Midwest and Northeast

As previously reported, retail energy veteran Bradley Quester serves as President of Novo Energy Services LLC

Quester has held a variety of senior executive roles at various retail suppliers, including President at Freepoint Energy Solutions LLC, Vice President, Pricing and Portfolio Management at Guttman Energy Inc., and a variety of roles, including Head of Gas and Head of Business Transformation Strategy at Direct Energy

As previously reported, Novo Energy Services has recently received an Ohio electric broker license, and has filed or will be filing broker applications in New Jersey and Massachusetts. Novo Energy Services also plans to serve customers in New York and Texas.
