Agway Energy Services, LLC ("Agway Energy"), a subsidiary of Suburban Propane, LP, announced its expansion into Maryland.

Agway Energy will be providing natural gas in the Baltimore Gas & Electric utility area and electricity in the Baltimore Gas and Electric, Potomac Electric Power Company and Potomac Edison areas.

As part of its Maryland offerings, Agway Energy will offer its EnergyGuard repair program, which is offered as a standard benefit for all Agway Energy customers. EnergyGuard is a bundled service and repair program that provides protection on customers' heating and central air conditioning systems, as well as their electric lines (subject to certain limits). The protection plan is supported by a network of highly trained professionals that can be accessed 24-hours per day, seven days per week through Agway Energy's Customer Contact Center.

Agway Energy Services is a sponsor of the University of Maryland Athletics, including for the 2018 - 2019 basketball season.
