Start-up Broker Led By Market Vets Announces Early Success

Inertia Resources, a start-up broker launched earlier this year, announced various milestones in its first few months of operations
Inertia said that it represents the Massachusetts Restaurant Association and The Newbury Street League.
Demorian Linton, owner of Inertia Resources, personally manages the book for New Balance Corporate, The Boston Celtics, and The Boston Bruins.
Inertia said that it currently does business in Texas, Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maryland
Inertia said that it is on track to represent over 1,000 business customers in its first calendar year, having acquired relationships with 745 customers in just seven months
Inertia says on its website that, "Unlike our competition, we only deal with a small handful of top tier providers in the most competitive markets in the country. Supplier relationships are important to us and we only want to deal with only the best in the industry to give our customers the best plans in the industry."
Inertia said that it is a "premium" broker with Engie and Direct Energy.
Linton is a retail market veteran whose prior positions include National Channel Manager at Power-Mark Resources.
Alain Karatepeyan, Inertia's National Sales Director, is also a retail market veteran who previously served as National Sales Director at Power-Mark Resources
