PUC Discloses Default Service Providers

The Maine PUC has designated Constellation Energy Commodities Group Maine, LLC as the standard offer provider to serve 67% of the residential and small non-residential (commercial) load in the Emera Maine-Bangor Hydro District (EME-BHD, or BHE) service territory for the one-year term beginning January 1, 2019.
The Maine PUC has designated New Brunswick Energy Marketing Corporation as the standard offer provider to serve 33% of the residential and small non-residential (commercial) load in the Emera Maine-Bangor Hydro District (EME-BHD, or BHE) service territory for the one-year term beginning January 1, 2019.
As previously reported, the new BHE residential and small commercial Standard Offer rate will be $0.083695/kWh for the 12-month period beginning January 1, 2019, nearly 16% higher than the current rate of $0.07225/kWh
The PUC designated NextEra Energy Marketing, LLC (NextEra) as the standard offer provider to serve 60%, and New Brunswick Energy Marketing as the standard offer provider to serve 40%, of the medium non-residential standard offer class in the EME-BHD service territory for the one-year term beginning January 1, 2019.

The PUC designated Maine Power, LLC as the standard offer provider for all of the large commercial/industrial class for the one-year term starting January 1, 2019.
