Another Nevada Casino Seeks To Take Competitive Electric Supply, Selects Provider

Gaughan South LLC d/b/a South Point Hotel and Casino applied at the Nevada PUC to purchase energy supply from a competitive electric provider pursuant to Chapter 704B of the Nevada Revised Statutes and Chapter 704B of the Nevada Administrative Code.
South Point would take competitive supply for various locations in the Nevada Power Company (NV Energy) service area.
For the relevant assets, South Point's current annual load is approximately 63,528.81 MWh with an average hourly load of approximately 7.26 MW and a peak load of 10.63 MW.
South Point has selected Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Constellation) as its provider, under an agreement with an initial term to be no longer than five (5) years
South Point anticipates that it will purchase all ancillary services from NV Energy pursuant to the terms of the OATT.
South Point is seeking a July 1, 2019 start date for competitive supply
