Satori Energy Acquires Book of Contracts

David C. Wiers, President of Satori Energy, announced today that Satori Energy has acquired the assets of Illinois based Equis Partners, LLC.

Equis Partners was founded in the early 2000s and has grown to be a robust energy procurement organization, serving customers throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Texas. Equis Partners founder Jim Roberts is a deregulated energy industry veteran, who commented, "This is an opportunity for us to expand the services and products that we are able to offer to our customers. As the industry continues to evolve, it becomes increasingly important for us to be able to provide the highest value to our clients. Additionally, Satori Energy’s commitment to the client experience will provide these customers with industry-leading procurement services."

Roberts joined Satori as part of the acquisition. The transaction closed in January 2019.
