As part of an electric rate case settlement at Consumers Energy, the Michigan PSC approved a State Reliability Mechanism charge of $335.99/MW-day at Consumers Energy

The settlement provides that, "The adoption of this charge is not precedential, and the parties retain the right to litigate the State Reliability Mechanism charge in Consumers Energy’s next electric general rate case."
