The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com

PECO electric Price to Compare is to increase for residential and small commercial customers effective March 1.

Note: Links to an updated PECO PTC chart are currently inaccessible on PECO's site. The R/RH and GS PTCs are the "actual" March 1 PTCs from PA Power Switch. The PD and HT PTCs reflect new GSAs (generation charges) filed with the PUC plus the current transmission rate for such classes. Based on the transmission rate not changing for R/RH and GS customers from the current PTC versus the March 1 PTC, it is not expected that the PD and HT transmission rate will change

For residential (R, RH) customers, PECO's Price to Compare will increase to 7.1060¢ per kWh effective March 1, which is 4% higher than the current PTC of 6.8210¢ per kWh.

For General Service (GS) customers at or under 100 kW, the March 1 PTC is 6.7080¢ per kWh, versus the current 6.6400¢ per kWh

For Primary - Distribution Power (PD) customers at or under 100 kW, the March 1 PTC is 6.498¢/kWh, versus the current 6.431¢/kWh

For High - Tension Power (HT) customers at or under 100 kW, the March 1 PTC is 6.249¢/kWh, versus the current 6.187¢/kWh

The new PTCs at PECO are to be in place from March 1, 2019 to May 31, 2019
