Enertrade Electric, LLC filed at the Texas PUC to relinquish its retail electric provider certificate
As exclusively first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, Enertrade transferred its customers to Infuse Energy (see details on the transaction here), as Enertrade parent Zenergy Power & Gas, Inc. said that it will unwind the operation of Enertrade completely
In its filing to relinquish its REP certificate, Enertrade said, "Enertrade is ceasing operations as a REP, and soon thereafter as a company."
In its filing to relinquish its REP certificate, Enertrade said, "The Company plans on ceasing its existence at the first possible opportunity."
In disclosing the wind-down of Enertrade, Zenergy Power & Gas had said in December that, "The Company’s plan is for ZP&G to relaunch its commodity sales business on a more effective operating platform, with a new strategic wholesale supplier as its premier vendor sometime in 2019. As a result of all of these events, the Company is also exploring ways to better separate its business units, in order to better accommodate its existing and any anticipated future senior secured lenders."
