Just Energy announced a new joint marketing partnership with Lyft, under which customers can now get free rides along with their energy plan

The promotion is being rolled out in the Houston, Texas market.

Just Energy said that customers that sign up for the promotional Nights Free plan will receive a $50 credit in their Lyft account.

With 24 or 36-month term options, the Nights Free plan features zero energy charges for usage between 9pm and 7am. In the CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric service area, the Nights Free 24 plan, as listed on Just Energy's website, is a fixed plan with an average all-in rate of 14.7 cents per kWh at 1,000 kWh usage, reflecting an energy charge (which also includes all TDU charges) of 21.9¢/kWh for non-night hours, and a base charge of $4.95. A $175 early termination fee applies.

A Lyft credit is also being offered for enrolling with Just Energy's "Basics" plan
