Arizona Staff Propose Date For Next Retail Competition Workshop -- And It's Half A Year Away

Staff of the Arizona Corporation Commission have proposed a schedule for the next workshop regarding Retail Electric Competition
Staff proposes that the next workshop regarding Retail Electric Competition rules to be held in July 2019.
Staff also proposed workshop dates for various other issues under consideration in a catch-all docket (DG interconnection, net metering, EVs, etc.)
Notably, Staff is proposing a workshop to be held in April 2019 to begin a review of the Resource Planning and Procurement rules, Electric Energy Efficiency Standards rules, Gas Utility Energy Efficiency Standards rules, baseload security, the statutory Biennial Transmission Assessment, and technological developments in generation and delivery of energy.
Staff is also proposing a workshop to be held in June 2019 to begin a review of blockchain
technology.
