PUC Discloses Retail Suppliers Selected To Serve Default Service Customers
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has disclosed winning suppliers from Columbia Gas of Ohio's recent Standard Choice Offer auction, designated suppliers that will serve non-shopping customers for the period April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020.
Winning suppliers were:
• AEP Energy (1 tranche)
• Direct Energy (4 tranches)
• DTE Energy (4 tranches)
• Interstate Gas Supply (1 tranche)
• NextEra (4 tranches)
• Spire Marketing Inc. (3 tranches)
The winning of tranches by Spire Marketing is notable given that Spire, as first exclusively reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com last year, just recently entered the Ohio retail market, primarily for the purpose of participating in the Columbia SCO auction
As previously reported (details here), the Columbia SCO auction resulted in retail price adjustment (RPA) of $0.118 per hundred cubic feet (ccf) for Columbia’s SCO customers for the period April 1, 2019 through March 31, 2020
