PUC Discloses Default Service Suppliers

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has disclosed winning bidders from the January 2019 default service auction for a portion of SSO supplies at the FirstEnergy Ohio EDCs for the period beginning June 1, 2019
As previously reported, the auction resulted in an average clearing price of $47.92 per megawatt-hour (MWh) for a delivery period of June 2019 through May 2020
Winning bidders were as follows:
American Electric Power Service Corporation
Number of Winning Tranches: 3
Tranche-Weighted Average Price to be Paid ($/MWh): $47.95
Exelon Generation Company, LLC
Number of Winning Tranches: 13
Tranche-Weighted Average Price to be Paid ($/MWh): $47.90
NextEra Energy Marketing, LLC
Number of Winning Tranches: 1
Tranche-Weighted Average Price to be Paid ($/MWh): $48.10
