The Maryland PSC scheduled for March 13, 2019 a legislative-style hearing on a non-consensus working group Proof of Regulatory Concept Program Proposal concerning energy storage which is, "intended to test innovative regulatory and business models for energy storage."

EnergyChoiceMatters.com had first reported the workgroup's filing of the Proof of Regulatory Concept, which includes various models of storage ownership and operations, including utility ownership (see story here)

In advance of the hearing, interested parties may file written comments on the Proposal by March 1, 2019, with reply comments due by March 8, 2019.
