New York DPS Staff sought an extension to develop Green Button Connect (GBC) terms and conditions, including terms governing third party access

On December 13, 2018, the PSC issued its Order Adopting Accelerated Energy Efficiency Targets (the Order), which directed the utilities to conduct a collaborative, convened by Department of Public Service Staff (Staff), with providers of distributed energy resources to develop Green Button Connect (GBC) terms and conditions as described in the body of the Order and file a proposal on or before February 29, 2019.

As previously reported, Staff convened the first meeting of the collaborative on February 21, 2019.

"Given the breadth of this topic and parties’ interest, Staff anticipates conducting multiple working group meetings in order to properly develop the GBC terms and conditions. As such, Staff requests an extension to April 29, 2019 be granted to allow adequate time for this process," Staff said
