Direct Energy has begun offering to residential customers a plan (Connect to Detect 24) that includes at no additional line-item cost a Hive View smart security camera

In the Oncor service area, Direct Energy's Connect to Detect 24 is a 24-month fixed rate plan with an average all-in rate at 1,000 kWh usage of 11.2¢ per kWh. This reflects an energy charge of 7.2¢ per kWh, and Base Charge of $4.95, and Oncor Delivery Charges of $3.42 per month and 3.135¢ per kWh

An early termination fee of $135 applies

The plan is available at Oncor, CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, AEP Central, AEP North, and TNMP
