D.C. Sets Release Date For Draft Grid Modernization Recommendations, Schedules Working Group Meeting

The District of Columbia PSC said that draft recommendations from the Modernizing the Energy Delivery System for Increased Sustainability (MEDSIS) Initiative working groups will be released on April 12, 2019
The PSC scheduled a two-day joint working group meeting, involving all of the working groups formed in the Modernizing the Energy Delivery System for Increased Sustainability (MEDSIS) Initiative, for April 25, 2019, and April 26, 2019 to facilitate stakeholder and public input on the draft MEDSIS working group recommendations
Last year the Commission formed six (6) working groups in the MEDSIS Initiative which include: Pilot Projects, Non-Wire Alternatives, Data and Information Access and Alignment, Microgrids, Future Rate Design, and Customer Impact
Persons interested in participating in the two-day joint working group meeting, who have not participated in prior MEDSIS working group meetings, should notify the Commission of their intent to attend no later than noon, Monday, April 15, 2019
