Expanding its presence in the Northeastern United States, energy advisory firm 5 has acquired Allenhurst, New Jersey-based Luthin Associates, an energy management consultant in the New York tristate area.

For the last 25 years, Luthin Associates has provided a wide array of energy consulting services to major industry sectors throughout the country, with a particularly strong footprint in the Northeast. The firm focuses on energy procurement and risk management, energy efficiency and sustainability, and regulatory affairs.

5, with operations throughout the United States and Mexico, offers strategic advice on a wide variety of energy related matters including procurement, demand management, renewable energy and rate optimization for public entities and private-sector businesses.
