New York Municipal Aggregation Issues RFP For Eight Communities Including Poughkeepsie

Joule Community Power has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to retail energy suppliers to bid to supply electricity to eight communities in the Central Hudson service area -– the Town of Beacon, the Town of Cold Spring, the Town of Fishkill, the Town of Geneva, the Town of Lima, Marbletown, Philipstown, and the City of Poughkeepsie (collectively, Hudson Valley Community Power)
A supplier is expected to be selected in May, with the expectation to begin delivery shortly thereafter, with customers seeing new rates on July bills
