The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
Commonwealth Edison filed with the Illinois Commerce Commission an updated informational sheet setting forth discount factors under its purchase of receivables (POR) program.
The revised informational sheet is to become effective on April 19, 2019 and identifies the values of the
Uncollectible Factor (UF) and Cost Recovery Amount (CRA) utilized in accordance with the provisions of
Rider PORCB - Purchase of Receivables with Consolidated Billing (Rider PORCB).
ComEd said in an explanatory letter that the calculated value
of the UF is 1.0106, which corresponds to an effective uncollectible percentage rate of 1.05%.
"However, in review of ComEd's applicable costs and the recovery of those costs, ComEd will keep the value of the
UF at 1.0000, in compliance with Rider PORCB. The CRA will also remain at $0.00," ComEd said
Accordingly, the updated informational sheet reflects a UF of 1.0000 and CRA of $0.00 (same as the currently effective values) effective beginning with the May 2019 monthly billing period
