Duke Energy Ohio Files New Bypassable Retail Energy, Capacity Rates For Electric Default Service

Duke Energy Ohio has filed new retail energy (RE) and retail capacity (RC) rates for default service customers for the period beginning June 1, 2019
The new rates do not constitute the entire bypassable SSO rate; other bypassable riders, such as AER-R (RPS) also apply
For the summer, the new combined RE and RC residential rate is about 1.7% lower than the current combined rate (or 1 mill per kWh lower)
