Potomac Edison Small Commercial SOS Rates Falling 15%, New Non-Residential Rates Filed

Potomac Edison has filed with the Maryland PSC new SOS rates for Type I customers for the periods beginning June 1, 2019 and October 1, 2019, and new Type II SOS rates for the three-month period beginning June 1, 2019
For Type I Schedule C (General & Commercial) customers, the new SOS rates are about 12-13% lower than the rates in the prior (year-ago) applicable seasonal period. The new summer 2019 Type I Schedule C rates are about 15% lower than the currently applicable rates (winter 2018-19).
Unless otherwise indicated for capacity charges, rates below are in cents per kWh. Rates reflect only the energy (and capacity where applicable) component of SOS, and not transmission or reconciliations.
