AEP Ohio has filed with PUCO updated rates for the Generation Energy Rider and Generation Capacity Rider, effective June 1, 2019

The Generation Energy Rider and Generation Capacity Rider are the largest components of the Standard Service Offer (SSO) rate. Other bypassable riders, such as the Alternative Energy Rider and reconciliation riders.

For residential customers on the standard flat rate (RR at CSP, RS at OP), the June 1, 2019 combined energy and capacity rate of 5.092¢/kWh is about 4.5% lower than the current combined energy and capacity rate of 5.341¢/kWh

For GS-1 customers, the June 1, 2019 combined energy and capacity rate of 4.911¢/kWh is marginally higher than the current combined energy and capacity rate of 4.853¢/kWh
