PUCO Approves Separate Settlements With Two Retail Suppliers Which Includes Over $35,000 In Forfeitures

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has approved without modification separate settlements between PUCO Staff and Ambit Northeast, LLC, and between PUCO Staff and Switch Energy, LLC, to resolve previously reported Notices of Probable Non-Compliance issued by Staff

Ambit Northeast, LLC agreed to a forfeiture of $21,000

Switch Energy, LLC agreed to a forfeiture of $15,400. Switch also issued a refund to certain customers.

As described in each of PUCO's orders adopting the stipulations, the settlements generally addressed issues relating to each supplier's marketing and enrollment practices
