The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com

The Public Utility Commission of Texas granted ATG Clean Energy Holdings Inc. an Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate.

As exclusively first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, ATG Clean Energy Holdings is led by Patrick Woodson, President. Woodson previously served as Chairman of E.ON Climate & Renewables North America, LLC, and has held several additional leadership roles at E.ON

ATG Clean Energy Holdings is authorized to use the trade names Texas Power Outlet and Green Energy Exchange

On ATG's website, Patrick Woodson states, "I spent 23 years helping turn Texas into the national leader for wind energy. I founded ATG to provide a better way to deliver affordable green energy, customer service and savings to Texas consumers."

"We want working with ATG to be painless, convenient but also fun. We’re not building your parents’ utility," Woodson states on the company's website.

On its website, ATG Clean Energy states, "At ATG Clean Energy we’re building a different sort of electric provider. We’re working to give Texas consumers direct access to wholesale markets and creating new partnerships to bring affordable renewable energy to homes and businesses. Our goal is cut costs for the average consumer by 20% or more."

"ATG was formed to provide a new approach to delivering power to residential and commercial customers. Our goal is to provide customers with innovative plans that empower them to control their energy future. Using our proprietary tools and technology, our customers can manage their usage so there are no surprises when the bill is due. We will offer both affordable green energy plans as well as some innovative approaches to more traditional energy purchasing," the company states on its website

In a promotional video included on its website, ATG Clean Energy says "nearly all" of the "big utility companies" in Texas have special plans that "virtually guarantee" customers will pay too much, through tiered pricing, confusing fees, and "more BS".

A graphic in the video tells customers "You're Screwed" if they are on such plans from other companies
