Delmarva-Md. SOS Energy Supply Rate To Increase 6% In October For Residential, Small C&I Customers

Delmarva Power has filed with the Maryland PSC new residential and Type I SOS rates for the period beginning October 1, 2019

Both the new October 1, 2019 Schedule R Residential and Type I Small General Service (SGS-S) energy supply rates are about 6% higher than the June 1, 2019 energy supply rates

All Delmarva-MD rates discussed in this story, including those in the table below, reflect only the energy supply component of SOS, and not transmission or reconciliation (Procurement Cost Adjustment).

For Schedule R Residential customers, the October 1 energy supply rate is 6.1423 cents per kWh, or 6% higher than the June 1, 2019 rate of 5.7947 cents per kWh. Versus the 2018-2019 winter rate, the October 1, 2019 Schedule R Residential energy supply rate is about 8% lower than the year-ago season's rate.

For Type I Small General Service (SGS-S) customers, the October 1 energy supply rate is 6.3121 cents per kWh, or 6% higher than the June 1, 2019 rate of 5.9447 cents per kWh. Versus the 2018-2019 winter rate, the October 1, 2019 Schedule R Residential energy supply rate is about 7% lower than the year-ago season's rate.
