Penstar Power, LLC applied for an amendment to its Texas retail electric provider certificate to reflect a change in ownership

Penstar Power described the change as an, "Asset Purchase retaining name, D&B, same employees/vendors, banking relationships, etc."

The amendment would add to the certificate 3000 Energy Corp as owner

David C. Shanks is now listed as President on the certificate. Shanks is Director at 3000 Energy Corp, per Texas Secretary of State records

Darin Shelton is now listed as General Manager on the certificate.

Both Shanks' and Shelton's email addresses listed on the certificate have the domain of company CellularWorld.net

Sharon Litke remains listed on the certificate as Vice President Of Operations

3000 Energy Corp registered with the Texas Secretary of State to use the assumed name Penstar Power earlier this month

Notably, in January 2019, 3000 Energy Corp also registered with the Texas Secretary of State to use the assumed name Circular Energy

Previously, the entity Penstar Power, LLC had been owned by CIB Irrevocable Trust
