New York Municipal Aggregations Serving Poughkeepsie, Other Towns Select Retail Supplier, Posts Pricing

New York municipal aggregation Hudson Valley Community Power has selected a retail supplier for an opt-out municipal electricity aggregation covering the City of Poughkeepsie and several other New York municipalities in the Central Hudson Gas & Electric service area.

Direct Energy was selected to serve the Hudson Valley Community Power aggregation

The Hudson Valley Community Power default aggregation rate, which is 100% New York State renewable, will be a rate of $0.0636 per kWh, fixed for 24 months. A standard fuel mix option is available, priced at $0.0608 per kWh for 24 months. Rates are effective July 1, 2019

Hudson Valley Community Power includes the City of Beacon, Village of Cold Spring, Town of Fishkill, Town of Marbletown, Town of Philipstown, and City of Poughkeepsie

Additionally, the Finger Lakes Community Choice aggregation, currently serving the Town of Geneva in the NYSEG area, also selected Direct Energy as the supplier for its opt-out municipal electric aggregation

The Finger Lakes Community Choice default aggregation rate, which is 100% New York State renewable, will be a rate of $0.05226 per kWh, fixed for 24 months. A standard fuel mix option is available, priced at $0.05005 per kWh for 24 months. Rates are effective July 1, 2019
