The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com

Baltimore Gas & Electric has withdrawn a filing to revise, effective June 1, 2019, its bypassable electric transmission rates, a component of SOS

BGE said that it is withdrawing the proposed update to the bypassable transmission rates due to recent PSC orders and direction concerning the recovery of RTEP charges at Pepco and Delmarva (see story here). BGE said that it would submit a further update in the future to revise the retail transmission rates

The withdrawal of the transmission rate change also means the update to the SOS admin. charge will revert to those in an originally proposed update from a May 2 filing (the originally sought update to the transmission rates had led to a further update to the SOS admin. charge to reflect updated working capital requirements due to the updated transmission rates).

BGE is now only seeking to update rates as follows:

• New Type II Total Generation Rates, effective June 1

• New SOS admin. charges for all classes, effective June 1

• New Residential and Type I Total Generation Rates, effective October 1

With the withdrawal of the transmission rate change, BGE's proposed rates are those reflected in our May 2 story here, which do not reflect transmission rates and instead reflect: (1) the original update to the SOS admin. charge effective June 1 for all customers; (2) for Type II customers, new Total Generation Rates effective June 1; and (3) for Type I and residential customers, new Total Generation Rates effective October 1
