Affiliate Of Pennsylvania Generator Receives Retail Supplier License

The Pennsylvania PUC granted Robindale Retail Power Services, LLC an electric supplier license to serve large commercial (over 25 kW demand) and industrial customers in all of the electric distribution company service territories throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

As exclusively first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, Robindale Retail Power Services said in its application that it is, "an affiliate of power generation assets Seward Generation, a nominal 525 MW waste coal fired power generation facility located in New Florance, PA and Ebensburg Power Company, a nominal 50 MW waste coal fired power generation facility located in Ebensburg, PA."

As such, "Robindale Retail Power Services, LLC will market the generation of these assets to end use retail customers in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania."

Robindale Retail Power Services is also affiliated with Sunbury Generation LP, which owns a 41 MW peaking fuel oil-fired generating plant

Robindale Retail Power Services is also affiliated with various other Robindale Energy companies, which are engaged in mining and mining reclamation, terminal operations, and trading

In addition to serving its affiliated companies, Robindale Retail Power Services said that it, "will also market power to Robindale Energy Service's coal customers, some of which have significant electrical loads in the steel industry."
