Green Energy Exchange Launches Retail Electric Service In Texas
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
Green Energy Exchange has launched residential electric service in Texas
As exclusively first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, Green Energy Exchange is a trade name of ATG Clean Energy Holdings, which is led by Patrick Woodson, who previously served as Chairman of E.ON Climate & Renewables North America, LLC
ATG has previously touted bringing customers access to wholesale markets, and has faulted pricing gimmicks that are prevalent in the market, such as tiered pricing and "confusing" fees (see story here)
As listed on Power to Choose, in the Oncor service area, Green Energy Exchange is offering a 100% renewable, 12 month fixed rate, autopay required, with an average all-in rate, at 1,000 kWh usage, of 8.6¢ per kWh. This reflects an energy charge of 5.1¢ per kWh, and TDU charges of $3.42 per billing cycle plus $0.031350 per kilowatt hour. An early termination fee of $75 applies
Residential service is also available at CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric.
