The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com

The New Hampshire PUC has approved the results of Public Service Company of New Hampshire's (PSNH or Eversource) procurement of electric default service supplies for the period beginning August 1

As first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, the "energy service" (default service) rate for the PSNH Small Customer class (Rates R, R-OTOD, G, G-OTOD, and any outdoor lighting associated with those rates billed under Rates EOL and OL) will be 8.825¢/kWh for the period August 1, 2019 through January 31, 2020. That's 11% lower than the current small customer default service rate of 9.985¢/kWh

All rates in this story are all-in default service rates, and include the Base Rate, Reconciliation Adjustment, Renewable Portfolio Standard adder, and Administrative & General adder.

For the Larger Customer class (Primary General Delivery Service Rate GV, Large General Delivery Service Rate LG and Backup Delivery Service Rate B, including any outdoor area lighting taken in conjunction with these accounts under Outdoor Lighting Delivery Service Rate OL), the monthly default service rates are as follows:

PSNH Large Customer Energy Service
                    ($/kWh)
August 2019 $0.07563
September 2019 $0.07533
October 2019 $0.07824
November 2019 $0.08590
December 2019 $0.10674
January 2020 $0.11955

Via the procurement, Eversource selected Exelon Generation Company, LLC to supply power for one tranche of the Small Customer Group requirements, and selected NextEra Energy Marketing, LLC to provide power supply for three tranches of the Small Customer Group requirements. Eversource selected Dynegy Marketing and Trade, LLC to provide power supply for the Large Customer Group.
