National Energy Marketers Association Holding Energy, Environment & Ethics Program At Oxford University In U.K.

Will Meet With U.K. Retail Energy Market Leaders, Regulators

The National Energy Marketers Association will be holding a program on Energy Environment & Ethics in the U.K. at Oxford University, July 17 to July 19, 2019, which will include meetings in London with U.K. energy market officials

The program, at the Santa Clara University School of Law, Executive Law and Policy Program at Oxford University, will include meetings at parliament, and discussions with regulators from Ofgem and the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority (CMA)

Additionally, lectures and discussions will be conducted by:

• Dr. Thomas Morstyn, Research fellow, U.K. Energy Markets, Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford.

--- Topic: Designing markets for flexibility and reliability including "prosumer" distributed energy resources grid-edge resource models

• Professor Catherine Sandoval Director, Santa Clara University School of Law Oxford Summer Law Program and Executive Program for Energy, Environment, and Ethics, Associate Professor of Law. Former Commissioner, California Public Utilities Commission.

--- Topic: Models for achieving energy efficiency climate change, safety, and affordability goals in competitive energy markets

• Ambassador Lou de Baca (retired)

--- Topic: Ethical Supply Chains
