Connecticut Opens Docket On Value Of Distributed Energy Resources

The Connecticut PURA has assigned Docket 19-06-29 for a joint Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and PURA proceeding on the value of distributed energy resources.

Section 6 of Public Act 19-35, An Act Concerning A Green Economy And Environmental Protection, requires the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority to initiate such a proceeding

The docket will serve as the administrative record for the joint findings of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority and the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection of such study.

The Public Utilities Regulatory Authority and the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection will report their joint findings, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to energy on or before July 1, 2020.
