CenterPoint-TDU Seeks To Temporarily Cease Charging Transition Charge To Retail Providers

CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC (CenterPoint Houston) filed at the Texas PUC to temporarily cease billing transition charges under Schedule TC2, effective July 11, 2019

CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric said that the final bond payment on the Schedule TC2 transition bonds is scheduled for August 1, 2019. CenterPoint Houston currently estimates that no further billings under Schedule TC2 are required after July 10, 2019.

"CenterPoint Houston therefore submits this filing to temporarily cease billing Transition Charges under Schedule TC2, effective July 11, 2019. Before the end of the term of Schedule TC2, CenterPoint Houston will submit another compliance filing to address any final over- or under-collections under Schedule TC2. In the meantime, there will be no further annual true-up process for Schedule TC2," CenterPoint Houston said
