Ohio Schedules Workshop To Review Natural Gas Market Rules

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has opened a periodic five-year review of the Minimum Gas Service Standards under OAC Chapter 4901:1-13, which include certain rules impacting retail natural gas marketing rules
Notably, OAC 4901:1-13-11 addresses utility billing and payments, including presentation of the supplier name on utility consolidated bills and coordination of billing information exchanges between the LDCs and suppliers
OAC 4901:1-13-14 addresses other supplier-utility coordination issues, including the enrollment timelines and rescission period
OAC 4901:1-13-14 also addresses the provision of eligible-customer lists to suppliers
PUCO scheduled a workshop on August 13, 2019 to discuss the rules prior to Staff promising any changes to the rules
