The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com

Gexa Energy, LP (REP Certification No. 10027) and Frontier Utilities, LLC (REP Certification No. 10169) have each submitted to the Public Utility Commission of Texas a formal request for production and receipt of the list of low income electric customers for the State Fiscal Year beginning on September 1, 2019

Each retail provider also affirmed each's, "agreement to contribute to the remaining $20,000 on a pro rata basis toward the reimbursement of the Commission's costs to provide this list in the forthcoming fiscal year."

The list is used by REPs to identify their low-income customers for voluntary assistance or programs that the REPs may provide.
