Initial Complaints Against ESCOs In New York Fall To Lowest Level In Past Eight Years

The Initial Complaints filed against ESCOs in New York for the month of June 2019 fell to the lowest rate in eight years, according to reports from the New York PSC

Total Initial Complaints against ESCOs for June 2019 were 79, versus 132 in May 2019, and 103 in June 2018

The 79 Initial Complaints against ESCOs for June 2019 is believed to be the lowest monthly total since July 2011, when 72 initial complaints were reported

Total Escalated Complaints against ESCOs for June 2019 were 16, versus 29 in May 2019, and 28 in June 2018

Total Reports of Deceptive Marketing Practices against ESCOs for June 2019 were 24, versus 36 in May 2019, and 7 in June 2018
