ERCOT has posted a reliability analysis determination for Gregory Power Partners, LLC – Gregory Power Partners GT1 (LGE_LGE_GT1), Gregory Power Partners GT2 (LGE_LGE_GT2) and Gregory Power Partners STG (LGE_LGE_STG)

As previously reported, on July 19, 2019, ERCOT received a Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for the following Generation Resources: GREGORY POWER PARTNERS LLC (RE) - LGE_LGE_GT1; GREGORY POWER PARTNERS LLC (RE) - LGE_LGE_GT2; and GREGORY POWER PARTNERS LLC (RE) - LGE_LGE_STG

The NSO indicated that the Generation Resources will suspend operations on a year-round basis (i.e., mothball) beginning October 17, 2019, with a Seasonal Operation Period of June 1 through September 30.

Pursuant to the ERCOT Protocols Section 3.14.1.2.1(3), ERCOT Evaluation of Seasonal Mothball Status, ERCOT has completed its reliability analysis and determined that the Generation Resources are not required to support ERCOT transmission system reliability during the portion of the year when the Generation Resources will be unavailable.

Accordingly, the Generation Resources may suspend operations according to the schedule in the NSO.
