Commonwealth Edison has filed with the Illinois Commerce Commission updated Purchased Electricity Charges (PECs) for the period beginning October 1, 2019

The ComEd Purchased Electricity Charges (PECs) are the largest portion of the Price to Compare

The latest revisions reflect results from the fall 2019 block energy procurement event (see results here)

ComEd's newly filed non-summer PECs are as follows:

Non-Summer 2019-20 PECs
  (October 2019 - May 2020)

Residential 5.998
Watt-hour Non-Electric Space Heating 6.020
Demand Non-Electric Space Heating 6.054
Nonresidential Electric Space Heating 5.863
Dusk to Dawn Lighting 2.589
General Lighting 5.644

For residential customers, the new Non-Summer 2019-20 PECs are about 1 mill per kWh lower than the most recently filed indicative Non-Summer 2019-20 PECs (6.099 cents per kWh for residential customers). The change in the other customer classes' Non-Summer 2019-20 PECs from the indicative rates to the new rates are also about 1 mill per kWh or less.

ComEd also filed updated bypassable transmission charges (PJM Services Charges, PSC) for the period beginning in October 2019 as follows.

ComEd PJM Services Charges (¢/kWh)
  October 2019 - May 2020

Residential 1.226
Watt-hour Non-Electric Space Heating 1.218
Demand Non-Electric Space Heating 1.218
Nonresidential Electric Space Heating 1.218
Dusk to Dawn Lighting 1.168
General Lighting 1.168

For residential customers, the new PJM Services Charge is about 1 mill per kWh higher than the current charge. For other customer classes, the new PJM Services Charge is also about 1 mill per kWh higher than the current charge
