Illinois Discloses Prices From Capacity Procurement For Default Service Customers Starting In 2020

The Illinois Power Agency has posted results from a fall 2019 procurement of capacity for default service customers at Ameren Illinois
Capacity and pricing from the fall 2019 procurement will be blended with various other capacity procurements undertaken for Ameren default service by the IPA
In the fall 2019 procurement, for the June 2020 – May 2021 delivery year, the IPA procured 357 Zonal Resource Credits (ZRCs) at an average price of $23.74/MW-Day
In the fall 2019 procurement, for the June 2021 – May 2022 delivery year, the IPA procured 153 ZRCs at an average price of $27.75/MW-Day
Winning suppliers from the fall 2019 capacity procurement were:
• Hoosier Energy Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc.
• Prairie Power, Inc.
• Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri
• Voltus, Inc.
• Wabash Valley Power Association, Inc.
